{"id":4163,"date":"2020-05-11T13:13:02","date_gmt":"2020-05-11T18:13:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/cdem.flywheelsites.com\/?post_type=publications&#038;p=4163"},"modified":"2021-05-28T13:35:25","modified_gmt":"2021-05-28T18:35:25","slug":"rural-tourism-assets-inventory","status":"publish","type":"publications","link":"https:\/\/www.cdem.com\/en\/publications\/rural-tourism-assets-inventory\/","title":{"rendered":"Rural Tourism Assets Inventory"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>CDEM commissioned\u00a0<em><strong>Ohana Writing Services<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0to undertake a tourism asset inventory of identified rural communities in Manitoba in the Summer and Fall of 2019.<\/p>\n<p>A tourism asset inventory template was created utilizing references from the\u00a0<em>Manitoba Tourism Education Coucil<\/em>\u00a0template, the\u00a0<em>Medicine Hat Tourism Asset Inventory Template<\/em>, and\u00a0<em>Tourism BC Template<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>The template was utilized for each community visit and was standardized to capture common categories in the different community during the field visits and for reporting purposes.<\/p>\n<p>The exercise revealed the extent of tourism development opportunities in our regions.
