A World of Choices: Two Successful Days of Mentoring

Share this publication:

Notable participation and success characterized the two days of mentoring organized by CDEM on May 15 and 26, 2025 in collaboration with the DSFM, the CJP and JA Manitoba. Encouraging discussions and exchanges took place between the mentors and the students during these two sessions.

Many students from Grade 12 at the DSFM and French immersion schools in the Louis Riel School Division met with mentors from the following industries: science and health, business/finance, technology, trades and entrepreneurship, utilities, etc.

Each mentor gave three mentoring sessions with three different groups of students. Lasting 20 minutes each, these sessions allowed mentors to present their professions, academic backgrounds, and career paths while engaging in inspiring conversations with students.

A huge thank you to the volunteer and passionate mentors who greatly contributed to the success of these two sessions!
