Launch of the CDC P’tite Fourche in St. Lazare

CDEM teams went to St. Lazare, in the municipality of Ellice-Archie, on October 16, 2024, for the official launch of the CDC P’tite Fourche. The event took place in the presence of Réanne Blouin, new President of the CDC P’tite Fourche as well as the members of the board of the said CDC. More than fifty people attended this meeting.

CDEM strengthens its partnership with CDC P’tite Fourche

The purpose of this community meeting was to present the vision and priorities of the CDC P’tite Fourche. CDEM also took this opportunity to strengthen its partnership with the CDC by presenting its services in employability, community economic development and business support.

Labour Needs Assessment Survey

As part of the Job Market Strengthening project aimed at meeting the labour needs of bilingual employers in rural municipalities and promoting their growth, CDEM took advantage of this visit to St. Lazare to invite all employers in the municipality of Ellice-Archie to participate in the survey to identify their labour needs. The objective of this survey is to conduct an economic study to assess labour needs and to support employers in hiring qualified candidates.
