On September 14th, French-speaking Manitobans are coming together for the provincial leaders’ debate, a unique and first-time bilingual debate in Manitoba. Manitobans would like to hear from their leaders. Questions will be sent in advance to all leaders.
“As Manitobans go to the polls on October 3rd, we believe that in order for our province to achieve the level of economic growth needed to match the level of economic competitiveness in Canada, the next provincial government must enhance its focus on building an equitable trade and commerce sphere for ALL,” said the Black Manitobans Chambers of Commerce President and CEO Dr. Zita Somakoko. “A strong and inclusive economy helps create investment opportunity, jobs and greater wealth and generates increased tax revenues for government to invest in what’s important to Manitobans.”
Organized in partnership with CCFSB, CDEM and AEUSB, the debate will take place at the Université de Saint-Boniface at 7:30 pm.
Leaders will have the opportunity to answer questions from both the moderator and the public.
The event is free to the public, but RSVP is required: https://bmbcc.ca/events/
